warning, it's kind of gross.

this morning i passed through dufferin mall on my way to no frills. i decided to stop in at le chateau just to have a look around. i was browsing through a rack next to this woman who was shopping with her 2 kids and her mother. the kids were incessantly bothering their mother with pleas to end shopping NOW, and to get food or else they would die. i tried to block them out as i went along my business but they were everywhere. the one kid told his mother he was going to vomit and that they had to go right now. i glanced back at the kid (Lord only knows why) just in time to see the kid hurl. i turned around quickly and heard the rest of it hit the floor. ugh. the mother smiled and said 'oh *name* ohh noo'...the grandmother ushered the kids out of the store and the mother KEPT ON SHOPPING! at this point i was at the other end of the store trying to erase the image of that kid from my mind. i circled back to the front of the store and i see the evidence is STILL on the floor and the store had filled with a vile smell. the woman (mother of the boy who was sick) was in line ahead of me and she just stood there, then paid for her many items. she did not even tell any of the sales associates what had happened! the only reason the guy cashing knew was because another customer in the store walked by and told him. the woman left the store and another sales associate came up to the cash and asked the cashier dude if she apologized, and he was like 'who?' GOSH! i mean come ON - your kid throws up in a store in the mall and first of all you can't stop shopping, and second, you can't have the decency to alert the sales associates of what happened?? she showed no remorse of anything!!! oh, and get this - the grandmother walked by the vomit, looked at the mother, made a face and waved her hand in front of her face and said 'that smells.' i couldn't (still can't!!) believe it.
